Tragedy in Las Vegas

Tributes are pouring in for victims of the Las Vegas massacre, after Stephen Paddock opened fire on a crowd of 22,000 people killing at least 58 people and injuring hundreds. Country singer Jason Aldean was on stage when it happened. In an Instagram post, he said that he and his crew are safe and his ‘thoughts and prayers’ go out to everyone involved.

‘It hurts my heart that this would happen to anyone who was just coming out to enjoy what should have been a fun night,’ he wrote.

SWAT teams found the shooter dead in his Mandalay Bay hotel room. He had no criminal record, and his brother says he has no clue why Stephen attacked the crowd. Police are questioning his companion, Marilou Danley, but believe he was a lone-wolf attacker.
